FAQ's
What causes the spicy consequences?
Gastrointestinal inflammation (GI) encompasses all symptoms like flare-ups, bloating, heartburn, and burning stool.
Spicy compounds naturally bind to the pain receptors in your gut, tricking your body into thinking that it is in pain. Your immune system responds by flushing out your gut, creating the sensation of inflammation. In fact, spicy compounds are anti-inflammatory and will desensitize your pain receptors over time, preventing this autoimmune response.
Redbloom microencapsulates spicy compounds using oleic acid, healthy fats found in olive oil, avocados, and nuts. This creates a cushion for your pain receptors, allowing your gut to reap the benefits of spiciness without the pain. You can read more about our science here
We also use science-backed natural ingredients known to improve gut health, applying the right molecular properties in the right amounts to create equilibrium in your gut microbiome. You can read more about our ingredients here
How do I use Redbloom?
You can either cook with Redbloom or use it to sauce up your meals as a condiment. Since Redbloom is already packed with spicy flavors and aromatics from 16 countries worldwide, our favorite way of enjoying it is to drizzle it on everything. We also publish new recipes every week and go into depth on our cooking show.
What are the ingredients?
We only use the best natural ingredients like black garlic, manuka honey, and MCT oil. Redbloom is also packed with vitamins and phytonutrients - our Vitamin D3 is extracted from algae. Here is the list of our natural ingredients
Can I eat Redbloom if I have IBS?
In a recent empirical study, 94% of participants (including IBS patients) reported Redbloom helps them ease digestive discomfort and bloating after meals. Moreover, they've noticed a positive impact on their gut, with regular and cleaner bowel movements the following day. However, Redbloom is not a cure for IBS. Is Redbloom gluten-free, nut-free, GMO-free, sugar-free, paleo, keto, and vegan?
Redbloom is gluten-free, nut-free, GMO-free, sugar-free, paleo, and keto. Each serving of Redbloom contains 0.08 grams of manuka honey, which translates into 0.07 grams of carbs and 0.2 grams of sugar. This is not enough to knock the body out of ketosis and is considered sugar-free (0.5g threshold). Manuka honey is the only non-vegan ingredient, so we’re “beegan”.
Is Redbloom Low FODMAP?
Yes, Redbloom is Low FODMAP and has been verified by Gut Nutritionists. We infuse trigger foods like Black Garlic, Griselle Shallots, and Beet Root into our natural oils, extracting all the flavor and nutrients while leaving the Fructan behind
What is the shelf-life?
You can safely store our unopened products in your pantry or cupboard at room temperature for 6 months. Once opened, we recommend storing Redbloom in the fridge. Opened products in the fridge can last up to 2 years.
