Our Story

A few years back, I fainted after eating a chili pepper and was diagnosed with IBS. My doctor explained that I had to give up eating spicy food forever. As a former chef turned engineer, it felt like a personal apocalypse; spicy food was my life. Without spicy food, I began to lose touch with my culture, friend groups, and even my career. I led the product team at a culinary tech firm, building AI models to help chefs craft healthier, more sustainable dishes.

My journey to understand my condition led me to research and a friendship with Edwin, a gut doctor and trained chef - he runs a cooking class for IBS patients on the weekends. We discovered that balancing the gut microbiome could mitigate flare-ups and that this balance was achievable through natural ingredients. Eureka moment: Why not use AI to crunch both molecular data and flavor profiles?

Fast-forward through thousands of AI-driven Redbloom iterations and real-world tests. The result? A chili sauce that unites 16 global culinary philosophies, using scientifically vetted ingredients to support gut health. Forget grandma's recipe—this is something entirely new.

Foodgasm every meal

Foodgasm occurs when there is a tongue-brain connection that releases dopamine to create a euphoric sensation. We use a Michelin technique called “flavor layering” to target specific taste receptors to establish this connection. The spicy compounds will naturally boost dopamine levels, resulting in an instant foodgasm

Redbloom's Empirical Study

In a recent empirical study, 94% of participants reported Redbloom help them ease digestive discomfort and bloating after meals. Moreover, they've noticed a positive impact on their gut, with regular and cleaner bowel movements the following day
